Sustainablity & ProNiño

A European organization collaborated with PNH to donate and construct biofuel supply.  It is due to be up and running and should fuel all the cooking at one of the centers. It uses grasses and other composting items.
 
Alcoa donated commercial grade bakery equipment and we are now able to make our own bread.
 

Nueva Vida has a tilapia farm and milk cows. There is also a small chicken farm, raising chickens for meat and eggs.

 
Unfortunately the garden was ruined in the recent flooding and we are not sure what the plans for reconstruction are. That was quite a big project. A trip was made by a group of service workers from Atlanta coordinated with the Georgia agriculture extension and the University of Georgia and they planned the crops and taught canning, etc.
